About MiamiSurgeryGuide

An independent, plain-language resource for people having plastic surgery in Miami — local patients and the many who fly in.

Why we exist

Most patients plan their surgery through Instagram, coordinators' DMs and surgery groups. Those communities are supportive, but advice is scattered, often contradictory, and rarely tied to Florida's actual rules. We bring the recurring questions together and answer them with official sources.

Who writes the guides

Guides are researched and written by the MiamiSurgeryGuide editors from the primary sources listed below. We are not a medical practice, we don't provide medical advice, and we don't present our editors as clinicians. Dates identify editorial updates, not medical approval. No named clinical reviewer has been confirmed for these guides; they should not be presented as clinically reviewed.

Educational content and promotional content are kept separate. We don't publish sponsored articles; if that ever changes, sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such.

Editorial policy

  • Content is general education, not medical advice. We tell readers to follow their own surgeon's instructions.
  • Medical and legal statements are based on primary sources — Florida Statutes, state agencies and professional societies — listed below.
  • Patient-community themes are paraphrased and de-identified. We don't quote individuals or attach patient comments to named businesses.
  • Guide dates distinguish content updates from any separately documented clinical review. We aim to review every guide at least twice a year and after any change in Florida law.

Directory policy

  • We list businesses that publicly advertise services to Miami plastic surgery patients.
  • We publish basic facts (name, area, address, phone, website, services) checked against the business's own website, with the date checked. When a practice has no usable website, we use its Google Maps business listing, at least two agreeing professional directories, or a hospital system, and we name that source on the listing.
  • When several surgeons share one practice's address and phone, we list the practice once.
  • We leave out practices whose published addresses conflict, that appear to have closed, or that are outside Miami-Dade.
  • Credentials are shown as stated by the business and labeled that way. Every listing carries an "Unverified — call to confirm" label until we've confirmed licenses on state databases.
  • We do not rank, rate or review providers, and we don't sell placement.
  • We remove listings that misstate licenses, are subject to enforcement action, or that a business asks us to remove.

Publisher and review status

MiamiSurgeryGuide is the publishing brand for this site. The legal operator and individual author biographies have not yet been confirmed for publication. We do not claim medical accreditation or clinical review. Send a correction.

Business relationships

Any directory listing for a business we have a relationship with is marked Partner. Partner status never affects what our guides say.
